Blake Sanders, DO, FAAD
Dr. Sanders is a board-certified dermatologist and founder of Sacred Heart Dermatology. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology and Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and a member of the North Carolina Dermatology Society. He completed his residency at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami, Florida where he was the chief resident in his program. Dr. Sanders loves being a dermatologist and gives educational talks about skin cancer in the community, but the most rewarding part of his job is taking care of his patients.
He completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri where he graduated with honors and played college baseball. He holds a Master’s in Biomedical Science Policy and Advocacy from Georgetown University and a Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Des Moines University. Dr. Sanders resides in Mooresville with his wife Jane and their puppy Rusty and is an active member of his church and a volunteer at HealthReach Clinic. He enjoys weightlifting and spending time with his family in his spare time.
